When you subscribe to a forum or notification board, Qmunity notifies you by email of any activity in that forum/notification board.
The Forum/s are where fellow product users [post questions and receive answers. The Notifications is where NetIQ post the last information on hotfixes, product updates/release, service packs etc. We highly recommend that NetIQ product users subscribe to the notification board related to their product.
Procedure
1. Navigate to the Forums or Notifications main page by clicking the Forum or Notifications tab or to a specific forum or notification.

2. Click on the 'Forum Subscriptions' link in the Shortcuts section in the sidebar.

3. The Forum Subscriptions page displays with the list of forums and notifications (scroll down the page to see the complete list). 'Yes' and 'No' in the Subscribe list indicates whether you subscribe to a forum or not: 'Yes' for subscribe, 'No' for do not subscribe. If the field is blank ('Yes' or 'No' do not appear) next to a forum/notification name then you do not have permission/s to access that forum.

4. Click on 'No' to subscribe (it will change to 'Yes') to a forum or 'Yes' to unsubscribe (it will change to No). Qmunity will reset the subscribe value.
You must also check that you Qmunity email settings are configured to permit Qmunity to send you email.
1. Open your Public Profile by clicking on the 'Home' tab
2. Then 'Edit profile' next to your avatar image.
3. select the Site Options tab.
4. Scroll down to the Email Configuration section.

5. Ensure that:
- 'Private email' is entered and correct.
- 'Receive emails' is set to 'Yes'
- 'Receive HTML emails' is set to your preference
- 'Send notifications' is set to 'Yes'
6. Scroll down and click Save.
Qmunity will send you email notification of any activity in the forums/notification board/s to which you are subscribed.
